IMPORTANT UPDATE:
In response to OIG Advisory Opinion No. 22-14 and DOJ recommendations, we are implementing updated standards for CE course credit offerings in 2025. This year’s Perspectives in Eye Care program will include two attendance options:
- Live In-Person Event: $130.00 + $3.97 service charge
- Virtual Live Online Streaming*: $150.00 + $4.35 service charge
*If you’re attending the synchronous live virtual event from outside Minnesota, please check with your local optometry board to confirm whether the virtual live event counts toward CE credits in your state. MN Board Response: In Minnesota, both Synchronous Live and Synchronous Virtual CE count toward live CE requirements.

Perspectives in Eye Care 2025 FAQ
Can I register for one format (in-person or virtual) and attend the other?
No. Registration is specific to the format you select and cannot be transferred.
When will I receive my confirmation email?
Confirmation emails will be sent the week before the event.
When will I receive my Zoom login information?
Zoom login details will also be sent the week before the event.
Do both the in-person and virtual options qualify for 8 CE credits?
Yes. Both formats are eligible for 8 COPE-approved CE credits.
Can I watch the virtual event at a later time and still receive credit?
No. To receive credit, you must attend the virtual event live. COPE does not permit credit for asynchronous viewing for this event.

MN Board Response: In Minnesota, both Synchronous Live and Synchronous Virtual CE count toward live CE requirements. Asynchronous CE is categorized as pre-recorded.

What’s the best way to watch the virtual event?
For the best experience, we recommend using a computer, laptop, iPad, or tablet. You will need your phone to scan QR codes to confirm attendance and receive credit.
